Q355NH grade is weather-resistant steel but also belongs to low alloy series. The letter Q is the initial letter of yield pinyin; the number 355 refers to its yield strength is 355MPa; the letter HN is the initial letter of weather-resistant pinyin. It has the advantages of rust resistance and air corrosion resistance. The use of weather-resistant steel as structural parts has excellent characteristics of corrosion resistance, life extension, thinning and consumption reduction, labor saving and energy saving.
Q355NH structural steel plate and sheet is mainly used for steel structures used for long-term exposure to air (atmosphere) such as railways, vehicles, bridges, and towers. Q355NH weathering steel is mainly used in the manufacture of containers, railway vehicles, oil derricks, seaport buildings, oil production platforms and containers containing hydrogen sulfide corrosive media in chemical petroleum equipment and other structural parts.
